Massage & Body Therapy
Pregnancy & Postnatal Massage
Duration: 60 minutes
Pregnancy changes everything about how a body carries weight — and how it should be massaged. Our prenatal sessions are delivered exclusively by therapists trained in pregnancy care, using side-lying positioning, supportive cushions and techniques adapted trimester by trimester. Pressure is moderate, certain points are avoided entirely, and the focus falls where expecting mothers need it most: the lower back, hips, legs and feet.
Postnatal massage turns to recovery — easing the shoulders and back after weeks of feeding and carrying, supporting circulation, and giving a new mother something increasingly precious: an hour that belongs only to her. Womb-lifting massage, a traditional postnatal technique, is available as a complement at our women’s branch.
Both sessions are offered at our Rahmania Women’s branch and as a home service — often the most practical choice with a newborn at home. Pregnancy massage is appropriate from the second trimester onwards, with your doctor’s approval.

FAQs
Common questions
From when in pregnancy is massage safe?
We welcome expecting mothers from the second trimester (week 13) onwards, with their doctor’s approval. Our therapists are trained in prenatal positioning and technique.
How will I lie on the table?
In a supported side-lying position with cushions at the bump, knees and head — comfortable and safe at every stage. You will never lie flat on your front.
How soon after birth can I book postnatal massage?
After a natural delivery, typically once you feel ready and your doctor agrees — often within a few weeks. After a caesarean, wait for medical clearance.
What is womb-lifting massage?
A gentle traditional abdominal technique offered postnatally at our women’s branch, intended to support the abdomen’s recovery. Your therapist will advise whether and when it suits you.
